The exopolitical movements in Europe will gather in Barcelona in the weekend of July 24-25. Experts and activists from the US and the EU will speak at the conference. Pia Larsen and Frederik Uldall from Exopolitics Denmark will participate. As far as we know there are now more than 800 registrations including 30-40 press. We hope we will be able to provide a live stream on Exopolitics Denmark's website, but it all depends on the technical facilities available. The former astronaut Dr. Brian O'Leary will be one of the speakers. A press conference will be held on Friday the 24th of July. Visit the conference website. |

Exopolitics Sweden recently arranged a lecture with the distinguished researcher Robert Hastings in Stockholm. Now, the author will appear for the second time on Larry King's talk show, according to CNN's schedule. The show is expected to be broadcasted on July 3rd 2009 (Friday), i.e. 11AM CET on the 4th of July. Hastings will probably talk about former military employees who have had experiences with UFOs and nuclear weapons during their cold war careers. It is likely that the researcher will be joined by the film producer James Fox who has made the documentary "Out of the Blue" (distributed to all the members of the Danish Parliament in 2008). It is possible that the former Belgian airforce general Wilfred De Brouwer and Arizona's former governor Fife Symington will also be there. Seth Shostak (SETI-Institute) and Bill Nye (the so-called "Science" Guy) are expected provide their usual closed minded, unhealthy, and positivistic arguments. Our sister organisation Exopolitics Sweden arranged a lecture with the researcher Robert Hastings in the beginning of June 2009. The American has collected testimonies from many former military employees who have witnessed UFOs in the proximity of nuclear weapons. Clas Svahn wrote an article about Hastings in the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter (The Daily News) (In Swedish). We would like to thank Exopolitics Sweden for bringing an expert of this magnitude to Scandinavia.

Our sister organisation in Germany has produced a brief interview with the "father" of SETI Frank Drake.
During the conversation the Professor was confronted with the "Chilbolton-formation" and provided a good example of bad-science-argumentation; Drake should be more careful with passing judgement if he has not
studied the Chilbolton formation. But even if he HAS investigated it, how
can he then possibly know how ET thinks? Exopolitics Denmark does not
claim to know whether the crop formation is "real"! But we do call for undogmatic and cautious statements from so-called experts on "life in space". Ironically, scientists and sceptics often ask "believers" to be cautious before drawing conclusions. Drake is also asked how he knows that ET would like to
use radio. The professor replies that radiosignals are the preferred
method of interstellar communication. How on earth does he know that?
Has he conducted a large survey among billions of stars in the Milkyway? Are many of his assumptions unreflected, meaningless, and useless? Is S.E.T.I = the Silly Effort To Investigate? May 14th: Anne C. Mulkern wrote about the extraterrestrial presence and the link to the world's energy- and climate challenges. The article was published in The New York Times' Greenwire section and revolved around arguments made by the political activist Stephen Bassett. A central point was that exotic technology has to be released to the public so it can contribute to solving the planet's energy- and environmental problems. Retired General talks about UFOs |
Former airforce General from Chile, Ricardo Bermudez, spoke at the International UFO Congress in Scottsdale, Arizona in February 2012. He presented photos from an air-show in 2010, where a metallic disc-shaped object allegedly can be seen. Bermudez is of the opinion that the study of the UFO-phenomenon is important and that an organisation for investigating the matter should be created within the framework of the UN. The British police officer Gary Heseltine who visited us in November 2011
was on ITV's This Morning on February 9th 2012. He stressed that the evidence in connection with a small percentage of the UFO-sightings is so strong that it points to an extraterrestrial presence. Our event with the UK police officer Gary Heseltine in Odense on November 1st 2011 is now online on Youtube. Heseltine talked about his own sighting and the large database he has created. The British conservative politician Rupert Matthews is on his way to the European parliament since his party colleague Roger Helmer is retiring. But Matthews is apparently being criticised by his party because he is author of a book about UFOs and aliens. Exopolitics Denmark is a non-partisan movement and we don't want to comment on his political (and exopolitical) opinions. However, we do want to state our concern if he does not get the seat he is entitled to because of his book. UFO- stigmatisation has been seen before and would like to remind the readers of the Danish politician Ole Birk Olesen's (Liberal Alliance) critique of Yvette Espersen (Dansk Folkeparti). The Vatican's astronomer José Funes will participate in a workshop about life in the universe on May 21-22 2012: Extraterrestrial Life – Beyond our Expectations? The event is hosted by the research platform ExoLife at the University of Vienna. On the agenda are the social consequences of discovering alien life. Funes is mentioned in previous news articles on this website because of his view that the discovery of extraterrestrial life would not be in conflict with Christianity. UFO - Two New White House Petitions |

Two new petitions have been created on the White House's website. By signing you will be supporting the efforts for more transparency regarding the UFO-issue. The first petition is initiated by Washington lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Paradigm Research Group and the other by the historian Richard Dolan and the film producer Bryce Zabel. The two latter are authors of the book: A.D. After Disclosure. Watch Richard Dolan talk about one of the petitions. Danes are encouraged to sign the first and the second petition.

The Rendlesham Forest 2012 Conference |

A conference revolving around one of the strongest UFO-cases will take place in Suffolk England on the 16-17 of June 2012: "The Rendlesham Forest Incident". Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark went well |
Exopolitics Denmark hosted the UK police officer Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark in November 2011.He gave two presentations: one in Odense and one in Copenhagen. Heseltine's stay generated several newspaper articles, a Ritzau press release, and a web-tv interview for the major Danish tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet. The director of Exopolitics Denmark Frederik Uldall was also briefly interviewed on Danish national radio. The Danish/German pilot Dieter Betz also gave a presentation at the event in Copenhagen. The presentations should be online in a couple of weeks.

Exopolitics Denmark has invited the British police officer Gary Heseltine to Denmark in November 2011. He will give a presentation in Copenhagen on the 5th and in Odense on the 1st. We also expect the German/Danish pilot Dieter Betz to tell his story about a UFO-sighting over the jungle in South America in the 80. Gary has created a huge database containing sightings from police officers in the UK. Watch Gary speak at the National Press Club in Washington in 2010.

Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark interviewed the Hollywood producer Bryce Zabel during the exopolitics conference in Leeds in August 2011. Zabel is the creator of the 90s TV-series "Dark Skies" and is currently writing the script for the feature film "MAJIC Men". He is the author of the book "A.D. After Disclosure" as well (with Richard Dolan). In the interview Pia and Bryce, among other things, talk about the consequences of the disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark participated in the largest exopolitical event in the UK: Exopolitics Leeds. The conference took place in the weekend of 5-7 August 2011 at the University of Leeds. Among the speakers were film producer Bryce Zabel, lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Washington and Nick Pope, a former employee at the British Ministry of Defence's UFO-desk in the 90s.
