7th batch of UFO-files from the UK |

The Brits declassified the 7th batch of UFO-documents in March 2011. They are available for download on The National Archive's website and cover the period 2000-2005. Watch comment from Nick Pope on ITN News. He is a former employee at the MoD's UFO-desk. Exopolitics Denmark is of course pleased with the release.

Interview with Richard Dolan |

Exopolitics Denmark met the historian Richard Dolan in Washington DC at the X-Conference in May 2010. He was interviewed about UFO-cases from Scandinavia. Among them were the Ghost Rockets over Sweden in 1946, Hessdalen in Norway, and a possible crash on Spitsbergen in the 50s. The interview was published in March 2011. Watch it here.

Interview with Paul Stonehill |

We spoke with UFO-researcher Paul Stonehill at The X-Conference in Washington DC in May 2010. The conversation has now been published (Medio Feb 2011) and revolved around "UFO-nuclear weapon" cases in the Soviet Union during the cold war. Four months later several retired military officials from the US told their stories about UFOs during the cold war. They had observed UFO-activity in the proximity of nuclear weapons. Some authorities state that UFOs have no "Defence significance". Exopolitics Denmark fails to see how shutdowns or launch initiations of nuclear missiles are not of defence significance. Exopolitics Denmark held its second annual meeting on January 29th 2011 in Copenhagen. On the agenda were e.g. activities in 2010 / 2011, election of board members, and approval of the accounts for 2010. Interested non-members came by after the meeting and asked questions and participated in a debate.

Mainstream conference in Saudi Arabia |

Some of the most well known UFO-experts are likely to speak at a business conference in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, January 22-25 2011. The Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF) is hosting the event. The following pundits are expected to address the UFO-topic: Nick Pope, Stanton Friedman, Michio Kaku, and Jacques Vallee. See the entire list of speakers.
Exopolitics Denmark finds it extremely interesting that some people in the business world apparently have opened their eyes to the potentially enormous opportunities when it comes to economic and sustainable growth. The conference is held under the patronage of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz. Read more about the The 5th Annual GCF. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair will probably also be speaking at the gathering, but is not likely to address the issue.

New Zealand Releases UFO-files |

BBC reported on December 22nd 2010 that the military in New Zealand has published approx. 2000 pages of UFO-documents. They cover the period 1954-2009 and contain drawings as well. However, many names of witnesses have been deleted prior to the release. New Zealand is only one out of many countries which have declassified UFO-documents during the last 5 years. To a large extent we interpret the many releases as "signals of impatience" aimed at the United States. Read the article on BBC's website.

Anniversary - Rendlesham Forest |

Two military witnesses in connection with the famous and "strong" Rendlesham Forest-UFO-case are arranging a 30-year anniversary night close to the former Bentwaters/Woodbridge bases in England (Dec. 28th 2010). Jim Penniston who allegedly touched the perhaps extraterrestrial vehicle and John Burroughs will be flanked by Nick Pope, a former employee at the Ministry of Defence's UFO-office. The researchers Linda Moulton Howe and Peter Robbins will also be present. Visit the event's website: bentwaters1980.com. The sixth man on the moon Edgar Mitchell (Ph.D.) joined The X-Conference in May 2010 via Skype. On November 2, 2010 the voters in Denver unfortunately turned down the suggestion to create an extraterrestrial affairs commission. The Denver Post writes that 84% voted against the so-called "Initiative 300". Jeff Peckman from The Extra Campaign

The Vatican's astronomer José Funes will participate in a workshop about life in the universe on May 21-22 2012: Extraterrestrial Life – Beyond our Expectations? The event is hosted by the research platform ExoLife at the University of Vienna. On the agenda are the social consequences of discovering alien life. Funes is mentioned in previous news articles on this website because of his view that the discovery of extraterrestrial life would not be in conflict with Christianity. UFO - Two New White House Petitions |

Two new petitions have been created on the White House's website. By signing you will be supporting the efforts for more transparency regarding the UFO-issue. The first petition is initiated by Washington lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Paradigm Research Group and the other by the historian Richard Dolan and the film producer Bryce Zabel. The two latter are authors of the book: A.D. After Disclosure. Watch Richard Dolan talk about one of the petitions. Danes are encouraged to sign the first and the second petition.

The Rendlesham Forest 2012 Conference |

A conference revolving around one of the strongest UFO-cases will take place in Suffolk England on the 16-17 of June 2012: "The Rendlesham Forest Incident". Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark went well |
Exopolitics Denmark hosted the UK police officer Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark in November 2011.He gave two presentations: one in Odense and one in Copenhagen. Heseltine's stay generated several newspaper articles, a Ritzau press release, and a web-tv interview for the major Danish tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet. The director of Exopolitics Denmark Frederik Uldall was also briefly interviewed on Danish national radio. The Danish/German pilot Dieter Betz also gave a presentation at the event in Copenhagen. The presentations should be online in a couple of weeks.

UFOs and the Police - Gary Heseltine |

Exopolitics Denmark has invited the British police officer Gary Heseltine to Denmark in November 2011. He will give a presentation in Copenhagen on the 5th and in Odense on the 1st. We also expect the German/Danish pilot Dieter Betz to tell his story about a UFO-sighting over the jungle in South America in the 80. Gary has created a huge database containing sightings from police officers in the UK. Watch Gary speak at the National Press Club in Washington in 2010.

Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark interviewed the Hollywood producer Bryce Zabel during the exopolitics conference in Leeds in August 2011. Zabel is the creator of the 90s TV-series "Dark Skies" and is currently writing the script for the feature film "MAJIC Men". He is the author of the book "A.D. After Disclosure" as well (with Richard Dolan). In the interview Pia and Bryce, among other things, talk about the consequences of the disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark participated in the largest exopolitical event in the UK: Exopolitics Leeds. The conference took place in the weekend of 5-7 August 2011 at the University of Leeds. Among the speakers were film producer Bryce Zabel, lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Washington and Nick Pope, a former employee at the British Ministry of Defence's UFO-desk in the 90s. Australian UFO Files gone? |
The Telegraph and The Sydney Morning Herald reports (7th June 2011) that a lot of UFO-documents have gone missing at the Australian Ministry of Defence. The story emerges at a time when several other countries declassify and make their UFO-files available on the internet. The documents have either been destroyed as a part of a normal administrative clean-up or a deliberate cover-up. The media's attention was draw to the fact because The

The new edition carries the title: "Understanding the Implications of Human
Extraterrestrial Contact". It contains contributions from e.g. Exopolitics UK which participated in Exopolitics Portugal's conference in Porto May 21st 2011. There is also an article by Come Carpentier de Gourdon who we met in Rome in 2007. He lives in New Delhi and often has an Indian angle. Read more.

Many exopolitical activists in Europe gathered in Portugal in the weekend of 21-22 May 2011. The event was hosted by Exopolitics Portugal and took place at the university: Universidade Fernando Pessoa in Porto. FBI memo - Facebook debate |
|
An FBI memo published on FBIs website has created debate on Facebook and in the tabloid media. Some argue that it proves the crash at Roswell. Other have pointed out that it is in fact second hand testimony and that the memo has been "out" for a long time. The attention shows that it is recommendable that one uses caution when dealing with declassified documents. Download the document here. Exopolitics Denmark is not of the opinion that the document proves the crash at Roswell. However, we do find it rather interesting. Read article about the memo.
