The Vatican's astronomer José Funes will participate in a workshop about life in the universe on May 21-22 2012: Extraterrestrial Life – Beyond our Expectations? The event is hosted by the research platform ExoLife at the University of Vienna. On the agenda are the social consequences of discovering alien life. Funes is mentioned in previous news articles on this website because of his view that the discovery of extraterrestrial life would not be in conflict with Christianity. UFO - Two New White House Petitions |

Two new petitions have been created on the White House's website. By signing you will be supporting the efforts for more transparency regarding the UFO-issue. The first petition is initiated by Washington lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Paradigm Research Group and the other by the historian Richard Dolan and the film producer Bryce Zabel. The two latter are authors of the book: A.D. After Disclosure. Watch Richard Dolan talk about one of the petitions. Danes are encouraged to sign the first and the second petition.

The Rendlesham Forest 2012 Conference |

A conference revolving around one of the strongest UFO-cases will take place in Suffolk England on the 16-17 of June 2012: "The Rendlesham Forest Incident". (Learn more about the case by watching e.g. James Fox's documentary: I Know What I Saw). Among the speakers are former deputy base commander Colonel Charles Halt, sergeant Jim Penniston, sergeant Monroe Nevels and sergeant John Burroughs. Click here for more information. |

Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark went well |
Exopolitics Denmark hosted the UK police officer Gary Heseltine's visit to Denmark in November 2011.He gave two presentations: one in Odense and one in Copenhagen. Heseltine's stay generated several newspaper articles, a Ritzau press release, and a web-tv interview for the major Danish tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet. The director of Exopolitics Denmark Frederik Uldall was also briefly interviewed on Danish national radio. The Danish/German pilot Dieter Betz also gave a presentation at the event in Copenhagen. The presentations should be online in a couple of weeks.

UFOs and the Police - Gary Heseltine |

Exopolitics Denmark has invited the British police officer Gary Heseltine to Denmark in November 2011. He will give a presentation in Copenhagen on the 5th and in Odense on the 1st. We also expect the German/Danish pilot Dieter Betz to tell his story about a UFO-sighting over the jungle in South America in the 80. Gary has created a huge database containing sightings from police officers in the UK. Watch Gary speak at the National Press Club in Washington in 2010.

Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark interviewed the Hollywood producer Bryce Zabel during the exopolitics conference in Leeds in August 2011. Zabel is the creator of the 90s TV-series "Dark Skies" and is currently writing the script for the feature film "MAJIC Men". He is the author of the book "A.D. After Disclosure" as well (with Richard Dolan). In the interview Pia and Bryce, among other things, talk about the consequences of the disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark participated in the largest exopolitical event in the UK: Exopolitics Leeds. The conference took place in the weekend of 5-7 August 2011 at the University of Leeds. Among the speakers were film producer Bryce Zabel, lobbyist and activist Stephen Bassett from Washington and Nick Pope, a former employee at the British Ministry of Defence's UFO-desk in the 90s. The event was supported by our sister organisation Exopolitics UK. Hear David Griffin from Exopolitics UK interview Bryce Zabel just before the conference. Pia Knudsen also spoke with Bryce Zabel. Australian UFO Files gone? |
The Telegraph and The Sydney Morning Herald reports (7th June 2011) that a lot of UFO-documents have gone missing at the Australian Ministry of Defence. The story emerges at a time when several other countries declassify and make their UFO-files available on the internet. The documents have either been destroyed as a part of a normal administrative clean-up or a deliberate cover-up. The media's attention was draw to the fact because The

The new edition carries the title: "Understanding the Implications of Human
Extraterrestrial Contact". It contains contributions from e.g. Exopolitics UK which participated in Exopolitics Portugal's conference in Porto May 21st 2011. There is also an article by Come Carpentier de Gourdon who we met in Rome in 2007. He lives in New Delhi and often has an Indian angle. Read more.

Many exopolitical activists in Europe gathered in Portugal in the weekend of 21-22 May 2011. The event was hosted by Exopolitics Portugal and took place at the university: Universidade Fernando Pessoa in Porto. Representatives from Exopolitics Finland, Denmark, Germany, Spain, and the UK were present and gave presentations at the conference. Watch Exopolitics Denmark's presentation. FBI memo - Facebook debate |

An FBI memo published on FBIs website has created debate on Facebook and in the tabloid media. Some argue that it proves the crash at Roswell. Other have pointed out that it is in fact second hand testimony and that the memo has been "out" for a long time. The attention shows that it is recommendable that one uses caution when dealing with declassified documents. Download the document here. Exopolitics Denmark is not of the opinion that the document proves the crash at Roswell. However, we do find it rather interesting. Read article about the memo.
